Compressed Round Wound strings from the same factory which produced the originals we have all grown used to, but now no longer available from Rickenbacker. Compressed Round wounds are a half way house between Round wound and flat wound retaining the roundwound tone. Recommended for 325 and all short scale guitars, and can be used as a heavy gauge set on standard scale guitars.
