This guitar slept in its case for over a quarter of a century, collecting smells and goo you don’t need to know about. Totally 100% original, and save for some minor marking gained in its 46 year life , is in beautiful condition, but wait, this guitar is a paradox.Tuned as a 12 string it plays like a dream even with the cast bridge , the action is so low the pickups barely rise above the surface of the pickguard, the intonation is superb, But here’s the VOODOO , engage the comb and pull the six octave strings out of the playing area , increasing their pitch by a semi- tone at least and she stays in tune ……How does that work???? .Did someone sell their soul in the sixties, I dont know but these guitars are something else.
